Emran R. Imami, MD, FACS, FAPWCA
Dr. Emran Imami is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is an invited Fellow of the prestigious American College of Surgeons. He has over 25 years of surgical experience and was a distinguished teacher and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Florida for over 12 years. He is a compassionate individual committed to providing outstanding care to this community. In 1999 he transformed Holmes Regional Medical Center into the state’s 19th Trauma Center. Dr. Imami retains many areas of expertise, ranging from screening colonoscopy to coordinating comprehensive care for women with breast ailments and cancer.
Irfan R. Imami, MD, FACS, ABPH, FAPWCA
Dr. Irfan Imami is certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He conducted his general surgery residency at the University of Florida, followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at the Henry Ford Hospital system in Detroit. He was a consulting surgeon at the Nebraska Heart Institute prior to moving to Melbourne. He performed the first percutaneous abdominal anuerysm repair under local anesthesia in the state of Florida. He also specializes in varicose veins and is Board Certified in Phlebology (treatment of veins).
Clifford L. Gelman, MD, FACS
Dr. Gelman has practiced medicine in Melbourne for over 16 years. He is a Board-Certified, U.S. trained, former U.S. Air Force general surgeon. Dr. Gelman graduated in the top ten percent of his medical school class at the Rush University College of medicine in Chicago. His surgical expertise encompasses a wide range of surgical areas including general, breast, thyroid and parathyroid surgery.
Richard Bernard, ARNP-BC
Richard Bernard attended the University of Central Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and his Masters of Science in Nursing with an Adult Nurse Practitioner certification. He is board certified by ANCC in adult health. His specialties include breast, general, and vascular surgery. At TEPAS Healthcare, Richard assists in physical exams, diagnostic interpretation, surgical procedures, and post-treatment care. He also performs IPL, sclerotherapy, laser vein and laser hair removal.
